The API High Range pH Test Kit measures pH in aquariums that are kept at a higher, more alkaline pH. It reads pH within the high range of 7.4 to 8.8, making it ideal for marine aquariums, African cichlid tanks, goldfish tanks and areas with very alkaline tap water.

Standard pH tests often can’t read accurately above 7.6, so this kit is essential if your fish need a higher pH or your tap water runs alkaline. With 160 tests, it’s an economical way to keep track of your pH and spot changes early.

How to Use

1. Fill the clean test tube to the marked line with aquarium water.
2. Add the test solution as directed in the included instructions, then cap and gently invert.
3. Compare the colour against the chart to read your pH.
