Dymax Volcanic Media is a natural biological filter media made from volcanic rock. Its rough, porous surface gives beneficial bacteria plenty of room to settle and grow, and those bacteria help break down harmful waste such as ammonia and nitrite.

It suits a wide range of aquarium filters, from small set-ups to larger filtration systems, and is a simple way to build up the biological stage of your filter.
