Description
Sicce HyperZeo is a zeolite filter media that helps keep aquarium water clean and clear. It helps remove ammonium, which in turn slows the build-up of nitrate, and it also helps take heavy metals out of the water.
HyperZeo’s porous structure works like a sieve, trapping fine suspended particles for clearer water. Left in the filter for more than about 15 days, its cavities also become home to the beneficial bacteria that drive the nitrogen cycle. Together these effects can help extend the time between water changes. It doesn’t alter pH.
