Eheim Airfilter Modular Air-Driven Sponge Filter (400300)

The Eheim Airfilter is an ideal internal filter for small aquariums, quarantine tanks, and breeding setups. < cite index="1776-1">The filter is modular, developed with click-together tubes, and the thick filter sponge gives excellent filtration while protecting small or weak fish.</cite>

Powered by any standard aquarium air pump (not included), the airfilter uses airflow to draw water through a thick foam cartridge — providing reliable mechanical and biological filtration without any electrical components in the water. This makes it exceptionally safe for use in breeding tanks with fry, shrimp tanks, quarantine setups, and nano aquariums where the gentle suction of an air-driven filter is preferable over a powerhead-driven unit.

< cite index="1776-1">The Eheim Airfilter can be extended in many different ways — for example, operating with two sponges — using the extension set or accessory parts of the Eheim InstallationKit.</cite>
