The clearUVC 18 uses an 18W UV-C lamp to eliminate free-floating algae spores, pathogenic bacteria, viruses, and harmful microorganisms in garden ponds up to 20,000 litres (without fish), 10,000 litres (with fish), or 5,000 litres (with koi). A mid-range model in the Eheim clearUVC range — ideal for medium to large garden ponds and well-stocked fish ponds requiring effective, continuous UV clarification.

The outer container is made of impact-resistant and UV-resistant all-weather plastic — built for permanent outdoor installation in all weather conditions. The clearUVC 18 can be used as a standalone unit with a separate pond pump, or in combination with Eheim PRESS or LOOP pond filter sets. The replacement UV-C lamp (GlowUVC-18, part 4102510) should be replaced annually to maintain peak germicidal performance.

Important: The UV-C lamp may only be switched on during pump operation. If the water cycle is interrupted, the UV-C lamp must be switched off.
