Description
NexGard SPECTRA Spot-On for Cats 2.5–7.5 kg is a monthly topical parasite treatment for cats and kittens from 8 weeks of age and weighing 2.5–7.5 kg.
It combines esafoxolaner, eprinomectin and praziquantel to provide broad-spectrum protection against fleas, ticks, mites, heartworm and several intestinal and lungworm parasites.

Parasite Control
Fleas
- Treats and prevents flea infestations.
- Controls adult fleas.
- Helps prevent environmental flea contamination by preventing flea egg laying.
- Controls flea allergy dermatitis.
Ticks
- Controls new infestations of paralysis ticks (Ixodes holocyclus) with monthly treatment.
- Treats and controls bush ticks (Haemaphysalis longicornis).
- Newly acquired paralysis ticks begin to be controlled after 48 hours, although optimal control may take up to a week after the first treatment.
- Any ticks already attached when treatment begins should be removed.
Mites
- Treats and controls ear mite infestations.
- Treats and controls notoedric mange.
Worms
- Treats and controls specified gastrointestinal roundworms and hookworms.
- Treats and controls tapeworms including Dipylidium caninum and Taenia taeniaeformis.
- Treats and controls lungworm (Aelurostrongylus abstrusus).
- Prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis.
How to Use
- Select the applicator appropriate for the cat's weight.
- Open the applicator only when ready to use.
- Part the hair on the midline of the neck between the base of the skull and shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
- Apply the entire contents directly onto the skin in one spot.
- Apply to dry skin in an area where the cat cannot easily lick the product.
- Dispose of the used applicator immediately.
