Description

Red Sea NO3:PO4-X is a biological nitrate and phosphate reducer for reef and marine aquariums. It’s a blend of carbon sources that feeds the nutrient-reducing bacteria already living in your tank, helping them convert nitrate to nitrogen gas and take up phosphate.

Lower, steadier nutrient levels help limit nuisance algae and give you finer control over the conditions that affect coral growth and colour. Because dosing is adjusted against your test results, nutrient levels change gradually, which is gentler on corals than a sudden drop.

The formula also contains organically bound trace elements that support each stage of the reduction process. NO3:PO4-X can also be used as the carbon source for carbon-based denitrators.

Key Features

  • Reduces nitrate and phosphate: Feeds the bacteria that break down both nutrients.
  • Helps manage algae: Lower nutrients mean less fuel for nuisance algae.
  • Supports coral colour and growth: Lets you hold nutrients at the level your corals need.
  • Controlled dosing: Dose is adjusted to your nitrate and phosphate test results.
  • Reef safe when used as directed: Suitable for reef and marine fish systems.

Suitable For: Reef and marine aquariums running an efficient protein skimmer.
