Seachem Prime® Water Conditioner

Seachem Prime® is a highly concentrated water conditioner suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It helps remove chlorine and chloramine from tap water while detoxifying ammonia, nitrite and nitrate, making it suitable for use when setting up an aquarium and during routine water changes.

Prime® is non-acidic and does not affect pH when used as directed. It can also be used during aquarium cycling and when adding or replacing water. The concentrated formula means only a small amount is required for each water change.

Product Specifications

How to Use

1. Shake well before use.
2. Add 5mL (1 capful) per 200L of new water.
3. For smaller water volumes, each cap thread is approximately 1mL.
4. Prime® can be added directly to the aquarium, although adding it to new water first is preferred.
5. If adding directly to the aquarium, base the dose on the total aquarium volume.
6. Use whenever adding or replacing water.
7. For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, Seachem states that a double dose may be used safely.
8. In an emergency involving elevated nitrite, Seachem states that up to 5 times the normal dose may be used.

Please note: A mild sulphur-like odour is normal for Prime® and does not necessarily indicate that the product has gone bad. Always measure the dosage according to the volume of water being treated and follow the manufacturer's directions.
